Research Fellow for PELCI.  Dr. Eimir Hurley recently completed her PhD in Health Policy and Management at Trinity College, Dublin. Her thesis was a multi-stage, mixed methods evaluation of the implementation and impact of Ireland’s National Acute Medicine programme. Eimir is a pharmacist and biostatistician with a wealth of experience in the design, implementation and evaluation of programmes and interventions to improve patient outcomes. She has a special interest in the enhancement of routine data capture, and its use to inform and improve service design, and as such has collaborated with several National Clinical programmes. She recently contributed to the development of a new Model of Care for the management of COPD in Ireland, and co-authored the Irish Thoracic Society ‘s Respiratory Health of the Nation report.
